Urge the City Council to Vote YES on TOPA
The Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) will be on the Berkeley City Council’s agenda Tuesday, September 10th at 6 PM, thanks to tireless multi-year organizing and advocacy from Berkeley tenants, property owners, and community-based organizations. Support TOPA by showing up at 1231 Addison Street, Berkeley, CA 94704 or on Zoom to make your voice heard through a public comment to the City Council! If you are unable to attend the meeting, email or call city council below.
This is a crucial time for everyone to stand up for tenants' rights, support a policy that halts the displacement of low-income renters and communities of color, and advance the opportunity for tenants to purchase their homes. Let’s show our elected officials that the community stands united in support of TOPA.
